Andrea is a co-founder and current board member of the Paris region chapter of the French Diabetes Federation, contributing to governance and patient-led strategy. She has led type 1 diabetes advocacy and peer support initiatives for many years, including co-founding the Paris “Café Diabète” meetups, now scaled nationally. Having lived and worked in multiple countries, she brings a global perspective on equity and access to care. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 21, she lives in Paris, France, with her family and is committed to amplifying lived experience in global health decision-making.
