Based in Delhi, India, Mridula is a public health professional and type 1 diabetes advocate, bringing 33 years of lived experience to her work. She is the founder of Diabetes Fighters Trust, an advocacy platform focused on stigma reduction, health misinformation, and policy engagement in diabetes care.
She is also a social entrepreneur and the founder of Careoll, a WomenLift Health Global Fellow, serving on lived-experience advisory panels with the Medicines Patent Pool and FINDdx, and as an Impatient Lead with Breakthrough T1D.
Her work has been recognized through the Bakken Award, as National Winner of the Diabetes Storytelling Lab India, and for a digital health innovation selected among the Top 20 by the Diabetes Centre Berne.
