Based in Qatar, Sylvie has been living with type 1 diabetes since 2007, is a policy adviser, strategic thinker, social innovator, and NGO founder, with over 15 years’ experience providing policy advice to multinational institutions, NGOs and the public sector in the United States and the Middle East.
In her current role as Programs Manager at the Policy Hub of Qatar Foundation, she strategically advises on issues related to health, education, sustainability, and brings a systems approach to multisectoral policies for social impact. Sylvie is the co-founder of DiaLeb, an NGO in Lebanon focused on promoting awareness and enhancing the lives of people living with diabetes.
